Safe School Plan and Bullying Prevention Training—This training is designed to assist school site teams in meeting (1) the statutory requirements of Education Code 35294, mandating a Safe School Plan at every school site and (2) the assurances accompanying the receipt of AB 1113 funds for safe school and violence prevention programs. The training will assist school site teams in understanding the currrent trends and issues regarding bullying behaviors among school-age children. Participants will receive current information about bullying and resources to effectively address and reduce bullying behaviors at the school site level. (Begins 12/3/2009)
