Sacramento County Office of Education is a State Board of Education approved provider for the Administrator Training Program. The purpose of the Administrator Training Program is the development of effective instructional leaders. The training program is comprised of three modules that include class sessions as well as practicum hours. The three modules are referred to as:

  • Module 1: Leadership and Support of Student Instructional programs
  • Module 2: Leadership and Management for Instructional Improvement
  • Module 3: Instructional Technology to Improve Pupil Performance

The Administrator Training Program is an approved pathway to fulfilling the requirement for Tier II of the Clear Professional Administrator's Credential.

Fee: $1,250 for Module 1, $1,250 for Modules 2 & 3 combined. Public school districts may be reimbursed through the California Department of Education up to $3,000 per participant.

Participants

Currently employed principals or vice principals at a school in which kindergarten or any of grades one through twelve, inclusive, are taught. District and County office administrators may attend, but will not be funded through the Administrator Training Program grant.
